If she's smart she saved emails and other correspondence in which she argued against some of the bad ideas. I understand that, in the end, she has to follow orders from the Mayor's office. Hopefully she can at least show that she tried to prevent the cluster fuck it turned into.

Whoever considers hiring her should start with the question "What did you do wrong?" If she goes on a rant about the city politicians, skip her. I'm not saying it's all her fault. In fact it's probably only about 10% hers. But she could have called out the lunatic politicos running the city from the beginning. Go on TV and explain reality vs their dream utopia. Ask the mayor publicly how her police force is supposed to control mobs when she banned all forms of crowd control. Yes, it would start a war between her department and city hall, but even in Seattle the police department has more support than the mayor.
