  1. But foreign wars are good for (media) business. They get pretty pictures of the boom booms, write stories about single mothers sacrificing for the war, glorifying/demonizing anyone who is apposed to it (depending on their political affiliation). All the while the parent corporations who own the networks continue to cash in on those sweet Pentagon contracts. Win-win for the press.
