Rham is a product of the Chicago machine. But he's ambitious, manipulative, and independently thinking enough to see it as a path to his final goal, the White House. He sees the current party voices and leaders burning every way he had to get there. Assuming Trump wins 2020, he will likely be one of the first to absolutely lose his shit publicly. In his mind they've ruined his life's work. Unlike 2016, when they let Clinton go on and on about whose fault her loss was, expect a lot of internal and public finger pointing and accusations against their own party.
