  2. It's like "assault weapon". A focus group said those came across as scary words so they went with it.

  3. It had a couple different meanings. Like a "Well regulated ship of the line" meant a naval vessel that had plenty of rope, sail cloth, powder, cannon balls, ect. A similar meaning for militia brigade. It meant they were ready to act without needing additional time to gather equipment and supplies.

  4. Buy what you can now. The powers that be were writing a new law before the ink was dry on the decision. Most likely it will be a red tape ban. They'll be legal, but a nightmare to buy.
