@secretbassrigs Schools supported by religious institutions can receive state and federal funds. But they come with conditions. Some of these are not being able to turn down a student for their religious beliefs. So, for example, a Muslim child would be allowed in a Catholic school. Also, religious activities and participation can not be a requirement for the students. A student can be denied access based on moral grounds if they go against the views of that particular school or supporting church.
