To cover the Drinker's criticism of the movie trying to cover all the bases and not quite doing it. 1) It's a straight to stream film, make it in two (90 minute?) parts. 2) Only two people. A small 2-3 person team on either side. Take it down to two people after the things below come up and reduce it to one survivor on each side. 3) General criticism of many films today. Figure out what to do with CGI effects before starting. Somehow it's gotten less expensive to use, the technology has improved, yet the quality has dropped in the last decade. Studios using it seem to farm out the effects to the lowest bidder, who then dump the project on a few interns after cashing the check.

That's really all I ask for, but they often can't even reach that basic level. If I go into a movie with the expectation of shutting off my brain and looking at the pretty colors I don't expect high art. Unfortunately too many have been so bad I can't even do that.
