  1. Probably intercepted en route and replaced or modified then. But still impressive. The follow up with the walkie talkie bombs was a reminder that they just didn't get lucky. Their entire network is compromised. Hezbollah gave up smartphones a while back when they realized Israel could use them to track the carrier and that even encrypted messages were often being read. They are going to have to revert to verbal communication for messages between members. This is slow and opens up the possibility of getting it wrong along the chain. Along with not knowing who it is safe to tell or talk around.
