  1. I think they had a similar view of the Slavs. Not as "subhumans" like the Nazis classified them, but more as a lesser civilization, AKA savages. This is a common view of the enemy during war. Look at the way Germans were portrayed as "The Bloodthirsty Huns" in the previous war. It helped justify going to war against Yugoslavia and not being seen as a territorial grab to rule all of the Adriatic down to Greece. Though they also wanted Greece too.
