  1. RTFM! Read The Fucking Manual (Menu if you are in a restaurant). A lot of restaurants have pictures in their menus. People tend to order what they see, but never read the description. Then return it for a reorder, which the kitchen needs to rush, because they didn't realize it had an ingredient they don't like. Also custom orders. I understand that you don't want certain things with your food. But most morons can't grasp how stuff is made. I've gotten orders for "gumbo 86 shrimp, food allergy". Seriously, they are allergic to shellfish (or just don't like, they don't understand the difference) and want me to shut down my station while I make a whole new batch of soup (incorrectly) just for them. I also blame the braindead servers who turn in the order because they don't want to say "no" to the customer.
