  1. My father's first (And only) rock show. He was more into R&B and Motown. He had a free weekend but couldn't get back home with us, so he went with some friends. Never saw any music and the car they went in was stolen. Combined with the people there (He dispised hippies and similar types.) it just confirmed his low opinion of them.

  2. Look closely at Woodstock. It was on the edge of turning out this bad. Blind luck saved them. The festival itself lost a lot of money. It was only profitable after the release of the movie and the money that came in from that.
