From personal experience. I was stopped (mistaken identity) I had several police near my car. I stayed in it at first because that's what you do in Florida. When ordered out of the car I was told to place my hands on my head. That's when things started to get dangerous for me. After being told to walk backwards, and getting yelled at for turning my head to see where I was walking they started giving contradictory commands. One was telling me to stop moving and get on my knees. Another was telling me to keep walking. All police at the scene either had guns drawn, or hands on them ready to draw. Who do you obey? The guy who may shoot you if you don't do what he says, or the other guy who may shoot you if you don't do what he says.
