  1. There is a maximum density for anything that grows. Hydroponic and similar systems can grow more per square yard than traditional open field, but cost a lot more initially and day to day. It doesn't matter how "good" your product is, there is a maximum price people will pay. Especially if a similar product is available for significantly less.

  2. California looses money in the pot business. Federal government looses money running a brothel. Illinois lost money running a lottery. Something with a built in 50% profit. New York lost money running Off Track Betting. It's almost like people in government positions are there because they can't actually run a real business.

  3. But are you willing to deal with the other end of the issue? If it's your choice to start doing whatever drug you want, it's also your choice to stop. Don't ask me for money to fund government rehab programs. Don't ask me to help cover insurance costs through my premiums. Don't cry to me about addiction. If you aren't strong enough to put it down, don't pick it up.
