  2. At least make the parent(s) responsible in civil court. Compensation for the loss of the vehicle, any repairs required (full replacement if necessary), increase in insurance, plus another 10-20% for the overall hassle. Any amount not paid before the juvenile turns 18 is transferred to them on their 18th birthday. I know states have the ability to get money out of people who don't want to pay, just ask any guy who is facing court ordered child support. Yes, I know most don't have the money to cover all of it. But now they'll have less. I'd be willing to offer a one time forgiveness because many parents honestly don't know what their kids are doing. But once informed, the responsibility is on them.

  3. 20:00 Sorry Sean, but they were told exactly what would happen. Same with Portland, same with San Francisco, same with Seattle, same with Chicago....... Maybe not the specifics, but many people predicted the exact outcome every one of these cities would face if they kept going forward with their increasingly insane policies. But those people were shouted down. They were called every ist and phobe in the book and told to go away. But until they change themselves I continue to not have time to offer much sympathy. Bring back things like the three strikes laws, start charging repeat teen criminals as adults, actually make people responsible for their repeatedly bad choices and I'm willing to help. Until then, let them burn in their own fire.
