  5. Have you seen some of the decisions that have come out of California courts? They are the ones who decided to give homeless people super citizen rights. One of the reasons so many insane laws are proposed there is that the elected idiots know the courts will back them.

  6. ​ @cassiefuchs3657  It depends on which version (Chapter) of bankruptcy you file under. Sometimes it's done to stop creditors from seizing assets and allowing the business to keep operating so they can reorganize to pay them back. Though there are others that are a complete shutdown. This is usually when the debt to earning ratio is so far out of whack that there's no way the debts can ever be paid.
