They won't. It's hard wired into them to blame the patriarchy/racism/[fill in the blank] phobia for everything that goes wrong. Some might figure it out, but the majority will go on with full victim mentality for their entire lives.

Technical Recruiter. The answer to the question "Whatever happened to that sorority chick who took seven years, and six changes of her major, to get her sociology degree?"

Wait, do you mean to tell me that releasing TikTok videos showing how little work you actually do at work might not be a good idea? Didn't they teach this is business classes these mental giants took in college? Oh yeah, they didn't study business. They studied feelings and how businesses are bad.

Their accounts and tax attorneys are the real heroes of the company. I understand why back during the tech boom 30 years ago there were companies worth hundreds of millions. Angle investors and dupes backed up truckloads of cash to keep them going, but that blew up in a few years. Some of the bigger companies have never shown a year in the black for decades. But keep going. Inventive use of tax codes by companies who employee people who likely demand the evil rich pay their fair share.

They probably didn't want the backlash Twitter got for firing so many women. People ignored the fact that the departments with excessive staff were dominated by women. So Google decided to add a few extra sacrifices from male dominated areas to try to make the numbers look better.

@ActualJusticeWarrior I get that mass layoffs aren't good. Unfortunately every person I've seen in these videos is probably too young to remember the collapse of the tech bubble in the 1990's. The tech industry has always been boom and bust. This isn't even a bust, it's mostly cutting excess fat.

In the 80's I had a girlfriend who lived in the dorms. Her building probably dated back to the post WWII building boom. It was the classic military barracks style with bunk beds, no closets and barely room for two desks. The "good dorms" on campus allowed four people to share a bathroom instead of one per floor.

It's already being done. People freaked out because so many women were cut at Twitter. They ignored that the positions being cut were overwhelmingly filled by women. They could have (supposedly) taken one of the jobs that wasn't cut. But those jobs expect you to to actually show up, and show productive work. Instead they collectively screamed about misogyny.
