  1. When you tip cash instead of adding it to the delivery you show up as no tip. This gets you flagged as a bad customer. It's different in a restaurant where the staff talk to each other. But with Door Dash, and similar services, the driver from Monday will likely never meet the driver from Friday.

  2. Plus the ones that are part of the delivery network get charged. So they are paid less for a delivery order. UberEATS type services are getting paid at both ends.
