  1. Her answers from the Oprah interview (And many others) sound like a focus group didn't understand the assignment. They were given a bunch of potential answers and told to find the best ones. Instead they tried to string all of them together and make one big answer. Based on her word salad responses. I get the feeling Harris was great at boosting the word count for papers in her student days. Those assignments when you barely knew the subject, but managed to stretch an essay out to three pages.
