  1. I used to follow TYT. It was primarily to get another point of view. There was a lot of "That's one way to interrupt it". After a while they went full moonbat and just started making stuff up to fit whatever narrative they were pushing that day.

  2.  @davidurban3357  A few years ago a group reprinted sections of Mein Kampf. They made minor changes to drop in a few neo feminist catch phrases. It was held up as a brave and important new work, advancing women's causes. Later, when the authors reveled what they'd done, no one admitted being tricked. All commentary and reviews were quietly removed on the grounds that the authors failed to fully credit everyone who worked on it (Adolph Hitler). One of the rules of academia is to never admit mistakes. Just don't mention the error and pretend it didn't happen. There's an old joke about a very successful economist. He successfully predicted 11 of the past three economic downturns. They only remember their successes, when they are wrong it didn't happen.

  3. Except the people who gave him his degree have the same views. Many also have similar bullshit degrees.
