  1. Bears are a heavily protected species here in Florida. If one is chewing on your leg it would probably be considered your fault for getting yourself into the situation. (Much like being in a burning building in LA.) The unwritten policy for hunters or hikers that were attacked by a bear was to follow the three S rule. Shoot, shovel, and shut up. Do what you have to do to get out of the situation, quickly cover any involvement while getting the heck out of there, and don't mention it to anyone. Similar advice for anyone who has to defend themselves in New York or cities with similar woke prosecutors.

  2. Weren't we just told that when encountering street crazies and homeless addicts that we are supposed to check if they need our help? Apparently you aren't supposed to do that either. Just walk on by, not your problem is official New York policy.
