  1. I would still put my money on F-15/16/18, provided they have full missile loadout, those missiles are new ones, planes have new engines and an up-to-date radar. There are 2 things to be noted, however. First, other countries(basically Russia and China) probably have less advanced radars and missiles heads, which gives F-35 better chances. Second, F-35 is basically a fifth-gen Harrier, the fact that it can contest jets that were made to dominate the skies is already incredible.
