  1. While Kinzhal is not "true" hypersonic missile, the only thing we know is that it can be shot down with PAC-3 Patriot(with roughly 1:1 ratio of AA missiles to Kinzhal ones). Would be interesting to see PAC-2 facing it. In general I think Kinzhal is a good weapon(really surprised it was not developed earlier, in 90s or so) that can be used against targets protected by older systems, it just obviously can't succeed in penetrating defense that consists of the most capable AA systems.
