  2. US successfully defended South Korea and had very good casualties ratio in all of those wars, they didn't want to genocide Vietnam and Afghanistan so they withdrew. US had military capabilities to defeat both of them but this would mean turning them to desert/jungles.

  4. Not sure about 11 or twelve, but USA, China, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Spain, Poland and probably Turkey would win a defensive war easily, with first two winning offensive war without trouble too.
