  18. Exactly. The request for visual should have been denied. You’d think the ATC would be in control of what happens in the air and on the ground. That includes being tougher than the regulations & procedures allow, but not easier. ATC should’ve said NO to helicopter pilot.

  19.  @jamesunger8433 policy has to be rewritten full stop. Aircraft moves or halts at the direction of ATC. This is clear as day. ATC can’t presume cross traffic will navigate successfully each and every time. We want perfect record, and should be able to achieve that. If we have even one collision in the airspace or on the ground, then the procedures need rewritten. Human error is not a good reason & computer malfunction is even worse.
