I remember reading a biography on Truman a long time ago, there’s a quote the Truman said he didn’t realize how smoky backroom corrupted the Democrat party was as he saw much more clearly as he moved up in his political career. This was almost a hundred years ago, the Dems are proud of their ability to fleece and fake out the People.

  7. Rod is a fascinating guy who can tell his life stories and hold ya spellbound. I would read his memoir if he writes one or has maybe already written one, I don’t know.

  9. I don’t agree. His words and demeanor say a lot. This is a changed man and he’s got nothing to gain from being so open and honest about his last 20 years.
