  3. I’ve friends who emigrated to the states about 15 years ago. The grandparents are still in SA but the parents are too scared for their lives to make a visit back there now with all the killing violence etc It’s so sad and the grandparents haven’t seen any of their young grandchildren.

  4. This is a clear case of why British rule was a GOOD thing over most of the world. Although with regard to South Africa, I think the Dutch had the biggest stake there over SA, as I understand it, but I’m not totally clear on that nation’s socioeconomic geopolitical failings.
