@ I could care less about Ukrainians, Russians, Zelinsky, Putin. None of them. They can all go to hell. I want my $ back that the “stupid country” gave to Ukraine over the last 4 plus years. You’re drinking the propaganda from the fire hose, I’m afraid to say.

He did provoke things. Not saying Vance started it, but with more information coming out in the last hours/days, it's looking very much like the Friday meeting at the White House w/ Trump/Zelenskyy was actually "theater". The U.S. has decided that the return on the 50% investment of the R.E. Minerals program wouldn't be as good as they'd initially anticipated & this deal was never really worked out technically anyway. But this meeting had been scheduled & ALL parties played their part. Analysis by the CSIS supports what had transpired.

@2020-Hindsight Hey, it was proving to be a bad deal for the U.S. Financially, too many issues with return on investment for the U,S. on this deal & it was never beneficial for Ukraine either. The suit & good manners talking points are 100% BS but the media & the Trump Administration as well, are running with that.

@2020-Hindsight I knew something was up when Zelensky didn't have a translator. For a meeting of this potential seriousness, since English is not Z.'s native tongue, he should have had a translator which would have made the chat between all parties much more measured & linguistically more accurate/appropriate for everyone. The fact that translator wasn't in place gave me the red flag right away especially when dealing with an uncertain friend-emy.
