  5.  @amarie-tp3nd  he was very much a good guy... he was too good, too honest, too pedestrian... and Carter won the presidency almost like a fluke, he was the flip-opposite of the prior presidency (meaning the Nixon presidency; Ford was simply the after-party winddown after the resignation of Nixon)

  6. yes indeed, I think it was only a couple words but they were handwritten by GHWB on large cards and given out when all presidents would be together. Why were they opened by the wives of the presidents though? was that intentional, and did Pence's wife open one?

  13. in the original vid, did VP Pence open the envelope or was it his wife? Michelle, Hillary, Jill, all opened the envelope and pulled out the card and read it... Laura was handed something that was with the funeral program so nothing was opened by her, maybe it had been opened earlier by George WB and then handed back to SS dude who later gave it to George again to share with Laura? just speculating.........
