  5.  @robertirvine6307 you don’t know how federal govt employment works, it seems. I’ve conducted interviews for fed govt where I wasn’t allowed to question background/work experience of the applicant(s) too thoroughly, I was directed to keep questions non specific, general.

  10.  @guest_5992 it’s going to be eliminated. DOGE was t set up to simply do auditing & correction training. Watch that movie called Up in the Air, DOGE is essentially the government’s corporate down-sizer. As a 46 yr career in fed govt, this move to slash depts/agencies is extremely overdue.

  15.  @davidhaggard7393  it’s surprising how little people know about civil service appointments and how much they expect in character and work ethic from massive program that began out of the patronage system particularly after the civil war & both world wars. Then in the 1970s & 80s it became an affirmative action haven for the Left’s beleaguered minorities.
