Biden is in a hell of a pickle. If he fires her, she'll squeal like a pig against him when she's squeezed hard by prosecutors. On the other hand, if he doesn't fire her, the start of a serious investigation will be delayed and he will end up looking like the evil mastermind behind the assassination attempt.
