Comments by "" (@gemmster14) on "BREAKING: RFK’s VP confirms they may drop out and endorse Trump. Inflation DNC | Nicole Shanahan" video.
On the national politics level, the deck is stacked against them. The Independents / Third Party candidates don't have a snowbird's chance. As someone who voted for a 3rd party presidential candidate because I believed in his policies and loved his background, I did come to the realization that I did throw away my vote. That's why Trump aligned with Repubs. Despite his huge popularity, the system is rigged? designed? to block any part outside of these two: Dem/GOP.

she's apparently endorsing Trump based on her words. The bottom line is Kennedy has to make a public statement as to whether he concurs or does not concur with Shanahan.

@winnmatthews I can't argue with that - what you've just said, and yes, this snippet from the entire podcast has probably been blown up and way out of proportion. In the context of a much lengthier podcast, you're right, she may not have been prepping for this announcement, but she's given thought to it. I feel sad for what the RFKJ/Shanahan team has had to put up with for quite a long time now, constant obstacles that they shouldn't have encountered at all in a supposely 'democratic free election'.

@friarnewborg9213 I feel for her, she's a lovely candidate with hope and a vision for a better future, but she's also very astute, realistic in assessing the next 90 days. I believe Trump the man is a welcoming open minded to new ideas and bringing people to the table kind of guy. Trump loves hard work, energy, ambition & smarts. The thing I'm concerned about are all the "staff" and inner circle trying to dissuade Trump from bringing RFK&NS onboard; I believe Trump is sincere, it's the people around him I rarely trust. No matter what happens, I applaud them & respect their passion & effort.

Greater visibility in media and speaking out is what they need imo.

@AlexandrawOfficial_Lexi that's actually a very accurate statement. RFK Jr. & Shanahan to some degree will be able to leverage their ideologies and influence upon Trump if they drop out and endorse him. It would work to their benefit in the short & long term, wonder if they see that?
2
@winnmatthews that's your interpretation, but seriously why else would she even come out and say something like this if she personally didn't think it was the way to go? She can't speak for RFKJ - he's got to speak himself to thumbs up (or down) what she just said.
1
@Martselina I understand completely. Maybe Shanahan subtly wants to put pressure on RFKJ to drop & support Trump, doesn't make any sense to say anything at all if all you're doing is muddying the waters. I truly believe it's in his best interests to support Trump much more so than it's in Trump's best interests to bring on Bobby Jr. imo but I believe Trump will stand by his invite to them to come onboard & contribute.
1
@winnmatthews I hear what you're saying and can't completely disagree with you because she certainly wasn't putting out her decision on the matter; nevertheless, the fact that she took to media to 'prep' people for a decision to perhaps 'suspend their campaign' is something you have to read between the lines. I think Bobby Jr & Nicole have been desperately, constantly vilified so badly by the Dem party, they just can't make sense of enduring more of that hell over the next 90 days.

@cassiewatson6308 It seems at the 51 min mark she makes a thought out case as to what she'll say to their supporters about why they walked away as she puts it from their race. I feel the last 15 min of the entire podcast was several well-considered reasons for both dropping out now (more of those) or staying in (only mentioning the 5% means you're a "party") and I think she's leaning more towards getting out. The thing is I think they both know the 2020 election was heavily manipulated outcome & they probably assume the same thing will happen in November - why wouldn't it? and their 5% could be manipulated down to 1% in some form or fashion. If they've not considered this, then they should.
1
@jaehparrk seriously, I question the majority of Trump's picks... nevertheless, for RFKJ & Shanahan, they can only 'win' by jumping onto Trump train because it will elevate their political profile / visibility tremendously.
1
yes, that cannot be denied - the Dems are following the global agenda to a T - that's why they furiously work to stop RFKJ, Trump, and whomever else comes against them in the future. A free and fair election is probably a dream that will never again be realized.

@stewartcondie5833 apparently he's not a 2A supporter??
1
@Photologistic ok, thanks for your thoughts. There's some things I agree 100% with him & a few things we don't agree on. I'm trying my best to educate myself ok LOL

@stewartcondie5833 he definitely has a handful of stances I don’t support & then there’s some of his positions I can get behind 100% I’m an ardent conservative both economically, socially, politically; a capitalist, and constitution- upholding anti globalism voter for the last 30 plus years. I have a great distaste for the political class & the administrative state.

@crazyratlady3438 seriously, if that’s what he’s for, then using the word reparations is inadvertently or intentionally misleading - one or the other. Investing in the community looks like what exactly?
