Armed drones are next, guaranteed.

obviously Scheffler didn't grasp what was going on, what he was driving by. Then a cop got all exasperated (traffic fatality earlier got everyone all worked up) and he got a little aggressive with Scheffler. I believe Scheffler's comments. i don't think anyone is completely at fault. I hope they all drop this on all sides and move on.

@TheMangomelon789 assault isn't always ASSAULT, so take a breath. Years ago my high school age daughter was at summer band camp goofing around with the other band kids. My daughter with some others stuck her foot out quickly and for only a moment as one of the school's young band directors was passing by. Apparently only my daughter was noticed, and the next thing I know the school and local authorities were 'about' to take action on her attempted assault. What I'm saying is a feeble scuffle is not an assault although the 'law' likes to label it such. I do think that one certain police officer was a little too aggressive considering the situation and over-reacted. However, he doesn't need to be suspended or face any 'situation'. It was simply a tense morning. Everyone should let it go. Scheffler seems to have handled this well and his public response was very considerate.

Those IRS agents coming to your neighborhood will be authorized to deploy the armed drones.

Not a joke, plandemic 2020 came from movies like contagion & others.
3
@newday8545 you think I’m joking?
3
@newday8545 when martial law is imposed or whenever the hell the govt decides to crack down again & make us comply.

@markhankins3023 it would (and should) be dropped in the end even if it went to court. It would be a time waster. Pride (and ego) is the downfall of humankind, just words to remember....

@ts440s The officer attached himself to the car because he was becoming unglued mentally and subliminally resentful that his salary is 1/100th of what professional golfers earn. He hasn't been going to his anger management classes either.

@RetreadPhoto you're kind of thick? picture this: dark out, rainy roads, glare from lights everywhere, cop cars and police officers in dark uniforms here and there supposedly watching over this makeshift traffic 'detour' while they're finishing up the earlier accident (possible fatality) nearby the entry traffic to the golf course. The #1 golfer drives himself to the course, and has the misfortune of not quite catching what's going on. I'm not a pro golfer, but I can relate to the stress of all of this. It's got to have been an extra pain in ass for a guy who really could've (should've) had a hired driver pick him up this morning, to be honest.
2
no, that would be dumb move, that would be completely unnecessary, and in the end, it would bring negativity and controversy that a super star golfer does not need, I hope Scheffler keeps his wits and diverts further media questions, etc about this.

@wi11ialvl it's everywhere these days. Miscommunications all around, on everyone's part. Nobody to blame, it was just a crazy morning. Of course Scheffler, being a rich, public figure, must get an attorney at the ready in this litigious hungry society we live in. I hope everyone on all sides drops this, and moves on.

In general, I agree with you. I'm retired military, so I know all about following endless rules & regs and repercussions from not doing so. However, it is very confusing at times to get around cordoned off areas on a highway or to discern exactly where and how the cops want to direct or divert traffic. It seems like it should be 'obvious', but it isn't to most of us regular drivers. I've been yelled at by a traffic cop for not reacting exactly as the cop wouldn't liked. Was I being ego driven or defiant? No, I simply didn't understand because it wasn't as intuitive for drivers as it should have been. Fortunately, most traffic cops have been patient.

@newday8545 just make a note to self about what’s looming ahead, then when it happens, you’ll wonder how anyone counts seen it coming so long before…. I’m not sure HOW it will happen, but this exact weaponry is already designed for mil- govt use.

and white, hispanic and asian people too. It was a NON issue and Scheffler didn't flee, didn't pull rank, didn't disrespect, or threaten the law enforcement. Unlike the brainless who decide to fight the police or resist, we hear more reports on blacks who can't simply comply, that's why it always seems like they're picked on (because of one's RACE, of course, uh-huh)

@ts440s attached? stuck in the window? the door? clinging on? not sure if I saw that part in the vid footage...
1
@markhankins3023 you're racist against golfers, admit it
1
@ts440s attached by his own choice, his prior actions. surely, police academy teaches how to not get caught inside a vehicle in motion.
1
I bet Scheffler was not the only person this morning to misunderstand exactly what the traffic plan was supposed to be. I'd bet big money on it!
1
Louisville shouldn't take this personally, this kind of thing literally happens everywhere.
1
You are insane, You actually know what's in Scheffler's brain? your telepathy is stunning. What a gift.
1
sometimes you're driving along following vehicles before yours and you just can't see & process everything as immediately as the Police would like. After all, the police set up the cones & cars and already know in their brains what they'd like the vehicular traffic to do. We drivers on the other hand are only processing the road blocks, detours, and whatnot as we are encountering them moment by moment. It's not as easy as it sounds.
1
absolutely!
1
Absolutely right. These states should be fined if you want to know the truth because they don't have bright white paint lines or orange reflectors on the highway & that should be law. How frustrating for Scheffler but he's class act, kept his cool overall throughout the entire situation.
1
I think Tiger would've handled the situation just like Scheffler, with self restraint and class. And we all know Tiger has already had several incidents with police due to his past vehicle accidents. agree, the one police officer should've been tag teamed with another cop by his side to help keep officer "Short Fuse" with some perspective on the situation.
1
money has nothing to do with it, so don't go there. Hey, Police, listen up, Close down the highway to ALL traffic until the road is safely navigable for normal traffic flow. Don't put drivers in situations like this.
1
@edwardabrams4972 you say Scheffler thought he didn't have to obey the law (your telepathy to know person's thoughts is really stunning). I've actually done the very same thing, you're in your vehicle, not sure what exactly you are to do when cops & vehicles are in front of you, and police are arm waving and blowing whistles & what not... for pete's sake, this was completely innocent on Scheffler's part. I don't even feel the cop needs 'correction' even though we all know he was a bit too zealous in the interaction with said vehicle driver who happens to be a PGA star.
1
wow, you are perfect. Please go tell Jesus you'll take his place on the cross.
1
he did, admirably, to the best of his ability and comprehension.
