  1. I've been flying for over 45 years now. When I'm seated, I'm belted in. This is ridiculous scenario. Nobody should be unbelted except on the walk up to the potty. Even the potty should have a seat belt :)

  2.  @backpacker3421  Isn't most everybody seat-belted the entire time? And if not, don't you think it's the flight crew's responsibility to ask the person to belt up asap? The seatbelt off sign should be permanently eliminated. If you have to go to the bathroom, get up and go, then return back and put belt on. Geez, this isn't complicated!

  4. I've been buckled up since 1977 in automobiles and planes. It's a 'given' when I'm inside any moving conveyance.
