  1.  @creameedwards9518  bone spurs can keep you out of the military in some cases, meaning you're not going to be able to enlist/commission via basic/boot camp/officer cand. school. But if you're already in the military and bone spurs develop, odds are you will have to finish out your "enlistment or reenlistment time period" and then get off active duty. In worse case scenario, a medical board is convened and then you're separated.

  2.  ryanpatrick4920  For starters, where's proof he tried to commission in a branch of service? Knowing Trump, he'd be telling us if he'd actually applied to go into the military. By the way, draft dodgers are people who's number was called up to activate/go in the military and they chose not to do so and often went to Canada (especially in the VietNam period). Also, many, many young men got education-exemptions and went to college instead of military service during the Vietnam war.
