I didn't read the book, but I was able to quit alcohol and tobacco by asking myself the hard questions about why I do it, weighing the pros and the cons, and just coming to the realization that I'd be better off in the long run without them in my life. She's right, that it's nowhere near as hard to quit as it's made out to be.

  3. Of course Rogan focuses in on the fighting aspect of the movie. The fight club in the movie is only part of the movie, not the main focus of the movie. Project Mayhem would actually have been a more suitable title for the movie. Fight Club is what lures people in, but that's just the recruitment phase.

  20. The problem is the men that want the type of out of reach women that have those standards. Most women don't demand tall, in shape 6 figure salary men. If a woman has those standards then she more than likely has the ability to land a man like that which just makes her out of reach for most guys.

  21.  @RadioSilence53  Yeah I'd agree with that. When they're young they aim high for sure. High school was filled with girls all going after like 2 or 3 Chad's while every other dude got ignored. This can carry on with women for many years though until they just "settle". Guys are generally much more realistic with our chances and the kind of girls we pursue. I never even bothered chasing what guys considered the hottest girls in school as I accepted they were out of my reach. Meanwhile every Chad had a dozen girls all vying for his affection at once. It's sad.

  24. To be fair, women mostly put that pressure on themselves. Plenty of men are just fine with women who put little to no time and effort into hair, make-up and fashion, but you just want to compete with the women who do. That's your choice. Men don't demand it.
