  1. MCG has not always been the bigest, for a short time in 2000, Stadium Australia in Homebush, Sydney was bigger. It was known as The Olymic Stadium then. After the 2000 Oymic games the top 1/2 was removed because that much seating was not needed. Stadium Australia is the only one with it's own train station "Homebush Olymic Park Station" The Stadium in the main vanue at the Olymic Park. It's also a good vanue for live music, I saw Neil Diamond and Pink live at the stadium.
