  1. How prostitution became legal in Australia was funny. A woman was picked up by the Police for prostitution and taken off to jail. When she went to court she said it was legal and to prove that she had been paying tax for the last 2 years (under state laws it is illegal) But the Federal Government has no laws about Prostitution. The Frderal Government has laws saying that it can not tax crime of any kind. The state Gov asked the Fed Gov to refund the tax paid because it was from crime. The Fed Gov has no laws saying that Prostitution was a crime, so no tax refund. At this point the state Gov had to drop the chargers because tax had been paid. In a short time it was legal all over Australia and State Gov's are making more money than ever out of it with all the Gov fees and chargers + lots of tax. NOTE: using a prostitute is the only thing that hold a Death Penalty in Australia. Don't ever cheat on your wife, because she will kill you.
