  1. Notice the doggie's tail. Always down even when wagging, running, etc. This is a sign of confident, friendly, stable pittiee. A pittee whose tail is mostly up, vertical, either rigid, or wagging rapidly, but narrowly, even when doing nothing is a high strung, unstable pittee. Virtually, all the pittees involved in unprovoked fatal mauling of people are high strung, unstable, even when they are 'friendly'.
