Why was he in the bathtub when moaning? I did notice his tail was not up even when doing zoomies. That's a sign of stability. When adopting pitties, one's gotta be careful. When a pittie's tail is up even when the dog is not doing anything, that's a sign of high strung dog that could mean trouble in the future. You want the tail down even when wagging, as much as possible from a pittee. That's a sign of calm, and stable pittee. Btw. I intend to use the bathub as a crate for the dog (most likely a pittee) I'm going to adopt, combined with doggie gate, spring compression mounted on the top of the bathtub, with a lockable door.
