Stability, economic prosperity, and no more wasting resources on NATO, but on productive domestic investment for U.S. Stiff banks on the opposite side is not as much of a problem. Armor support vehicles for river crossing operations can build a more approachable pontoon 'bridge' very fast, enabling the armored units to climb the bank.
