  2. Scotland has 505 MW of solar installed capacity. That’s 4,203 GWh annual at 95% efficiency. (95% efficiency is what coal and gas power plants run at.) In 2022 Scotland generated 455 GWh of electricity from solar. That’s just under 11% efficiency.
