To conquer a slice of Ukraine territory and to then have to sleep with one eye open and one hand on your weapon always for the next decade or more does not sound like a whole lot of fun to me ~ economic gains or no. Almost feel sorry for all those low ranking Russian military personnel who will have to endure this hell.
