A Land Value Tax (on the land only and not on land's capital improved value) while at the same time eliminating income taxes for the 90% of the population would go a long way towards reducing income and asset inequality. Given land can not be 'hidden' from public view, the wealthy elite will find it much tougher to evade paying taxes. It has been labelled by some as "the perfect tax".
