Capitalism supports socialism for the wealthy...thereby creating ever-increasing inequality across the masses.

@chadclemen obviously you are economically challenged in your thinking.
2
@Dhanushka Jayasinghe no...pls do make fun of @chadillac...his simplistic mind leaves one just doing the classic eye roll.
2
@chadclemen amusing...ever the simpleton.
2
@ishkibable your comment "no one wants to work for 14 cents on the dollar"...where in any of the discussion permitted you to conclude that 14 cents on the dollar is what a person would be working for under a 70% marginal tax rate on taxable income above $10Million????????
2
@ishkibable and that person is still making in excess of $300 per hour for every hour of the day, awake or asleep, all 365 days of the year...and you believe this higher marginal tax rate is unfair how exactly??? Has it ever occurred to you that a higher marginal tax rate for higher incomes may actually lead to both higher wages and higher employment??? No of course not, that would require lateral thinking.

@brians7181 both your replies were very poor. If 1% of the population is paying more than the bottom 50%, this indicates that inequality is at the extreme end of the social spectrum. Just as, if everyone was paid exactly the same amount for their labor, this would be at the extreme other end of this same social spectrum...somewhere closer to the middle of these 2 extremes lies a more equitable balance for society.
2
@brians7181 sorry dude...I'm not very tolerant dealing with simpletons such as yourself...you are going to have to go bait someone somewhere else...🤦♂️

@chadclemen ok...here is today's economics lesson for dummys...one of them obviously being yourself...Obama was in office from 20Jan09 to 20Jan17, a total of 32 quarters of recorded GDP reporting...23 of these 32 quarters recorded GDP growth greater than 3%...in other words, 72% of Obama's time in office saw recorded GDP growth of 3% and greater...and of these 23 quarters with GDP growth greater than 3%...9 qtrs were between 4 and 4.99% and 2 were above 5% GDP growth. ...I look forward to comparing the Dumpster's GDP record with Obamas once he finishes his presidency...then again, it probably won't be a full 32 quarters we have available to compare. 👍🤣
1
@chadclemen nice try...cherry pick your figures all you like...the Dumpster is unlikely to ever have 32 qtrs as president to compare GDP figures against Obama...so I guess you are clinging to whatever you can...while you can. So good luck with that one.
1
@ishkibable you obviously flunked math in school.
1
so extremist...pathetic little mind.

@mrit4099 this just tells me the US is a sick, ailing society and is failing to look after the majority of its citizens.
1
@brians7181 and the bottom 50% need a huge pay increase...but that would not square with you now would it???
