Hello, dear author of the channel, Mo Gwadat.
I am a citizen of Ukraine. I am still alive, which means I cannot pass by and leave such a genius of analytics without attention. And, it seems, it makes sense to analyze some important details.
Do not consider it bias, but, personally, I was amused by the fact that this honorable guest has what is called a samovar in the Russian Federation. I think this is such a wonderful Easter egg.
Freedom of speech is protected by the First Amendment of the US Constitution. And this wonderful person, who by showing the samovar we mentioned, apparently expresses his complimentary attitude to the idea of mutual cooperation, mutual respect and all-encompassing friendship between the current (or, perhaps, future) Russian Federation and the USA. It is a pity that this person does not respect what he called here "truth". Apparently, he puts his own meanings into this word.
My job is to try to give a brief excursion into what is called the Constitution of Ukraine - Chapter I, Article 5:
"Ukraine is a republic.
The bearer of sovereignty and the only source of power in Ukraine is the people. The people exercise power directly and through state authorities and local self-government bodies.
The right to define and change the constitutional order in Ukraine belongs exclusively to the people and cannot be usurped by the state, its bodies or officials.
No one can usurp state power."
And when your guest talks about someone militarized overthrowing the president (whom he doesn't even mention by name), he forgets what events took place on the main square of Ukraine. I didn't see an army or torchlight processions there.
But you can see how in the capital of one large occupying state people (students, probably. One can only hope that they were driven there against their will, right?) line up letters and signs to form the phrase "Happy Birthday, President!".
How unusual.
It was precisely the one whose last name is Yanukovych who became an obvious puppet in the hands of the dictator of a country neighboring Ukraine. And after his statement (which the guest mentioned), it became obvious to the entire civil society of Ukraine that Yanukovych was a usurper of power who was fulfilling the plan of another usurper of power (Putin, if anyone did not understand). That is why the events that happened happened. They could not help but happen, simply because this is such neurophysiology, you understand? A nation is like an organism. And civil society is the brain of a nation. If I may say so.
And for some reason no one says that a full-scale war has been going on for almost three years. As if the unfortunate disadvantaged peoples of Russia have come to terms with this. Or maybe they have not come to terms with it, and they just like it? What if the actions of their leader correspond to the ideas of the average Russian inhabitant about what needs to be done? I say "inhabitant", because personally, it is difficult for me to call them "citizens".
And if you, Mo, and this guest who loves samovars (we all - are the citizens of the free world), - citizens whose foundation of ideas about morality and law, is rooted in ideas about virtues and rights and laws. Then we must remember some important, fundamental things.
I do not even want to mention the magnificent Budapest memorandum here. Although I recommend everyone to refresh their memory of the points of this memorandum.
I will remind you of something else: for some reason the guest ignores the fact of the occupation (and subsequent annexation, in 2014) of part of the territory of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.
Thus, a lover of samovars (forgive me for such speech, but I have seen too much to try to be calmer in this regard), should talk about real things.
And the real thing is the following:
- Everything that the Russian Federation does in the Ukraine falls under the definition of the aggression (see UN General Assembly Resolution 3314).
- The Russian Federation violated the Helsinki Act of 1975.
2
-
And it happened not in 2022, but in 2014.
Almost like the annexation of the whole of Austria by the regime of the National Socialist Party of Germany in a fictitious referendum. Isn't it?
And if we are sympathetic and thinking beings who respect Law and Order. International law first of all, then we, of course, can probably be disingenuous. But to shield the regime of an aggressor country that has violated all international (European! Do you even understand this or not?) norms and rights. This means leveling all the evolutionary achievements of morality, ethics and rights of Western civilization as a whole.
To put on a samovar and hint almost directly at the fact that citizen Putin is simply restoring order in a foreign country - I apologize in advance - this is simply pathetic.
It is also important, by the way, for everyone to familiarize themselves a little with the events that are called Black January. I think the party line, so to speak, has retained its continuity. And the genius of geopolitics Putin, who is now killing in this criminal war of conquest both the peoples of Russia and the citizens of Ukraine, in a certain sense, have remained the same.
And one more important thing.
from the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Article 3. Item 1.
"The bearer of sovereignty and the only source of power in the Russian Federation is its multinational people."
You can think about it, of course. If there are no national meetings, rallies (even despite the security apparatus. In Belarus, in 2020 there were rallies. Just as there was a rail war during Russia's invasion of Ukraine, already in full-scale format, on February 24, 2022), if there is no Operation Valkyrie - then everyone agrees with the leader's course, you understand?
Maybe we should not legitimize the crimes of the criminal regime? Maybe you shouldn't indulge the aggressor and express complimentarity with his actions?
You can do everything. It's your responsibility.
You talk about truth and "the short memory of people".
It would be funny to see, for sure, how some citizen of Greece, after Anschluss happened, would put Wetterhäuschen and a glass with a bottle of German beer on the shelf and tell visitors about how the Reich simply "brought order to Austria".
In essence, in general, almost the same. Except that Greece was in ruins. And the USA, I hope, will never be in ruins in our history. Because if this happens, we can put a cross on the future of the free world. Europe will become brown, and everyone will strive to get a samovar to express complimentarity to the ideas of the Russian world.
And yes, read about what racism is. If you are not afraid, of course.
I express my gratitude to all citizens of the United States. Even to the guest who is proud of his samovar. This is his right. And I have my right (while I am still alive) - to do everything possible to maintain respect for the courage, sacrifice and bravery of the people of Ukraine, to maintain respect for historical justice, and, very importantly, to protect International Law in general.
I hope someone will read this. Will look at the things I mentioned. Will feel the pain and trepidation that I am experiencing even now.
Europeans, and people who associate themselves with European values, let us all remember the words written by the author of this channel:
"The store of collective human knowledge is diluted by 50% each year."
Through a comma, you can add many other features that are characteristic of thinking beings: morality, ethics, analytical abilities, the need to analyze the morality of defending certain values... The reasons why some values are worthy of being protected and others are not quite worthy.
And such wonderful people as this invited guest, apparently, make efforts to "reach the truth", right? Surely, comrade with a samovar, helps listeners to build clear moral and ethical guidelines and values, which are based on the foundation of respect and reverence for International Law, for the History of the development of philosophical thought. Isn't that right? I just don't know. Maybe we should ask a Russian next time?
Surely he will also tell you about the "Kiev regime", people.
Or let's ask the communists about dispossession, collectivization and the Gulag and how this brings the idea of creating "the good for all" closer.
God bless the United States of America!
Fight against disrespect for the sacrifice of the people of Ukraine, who are fighting against the occupation of the territory of their state. Even with what is available to them now...
Fight for the freedom of Europe, for the preservation of the Jewish state, for the preservation of the idea of freedom from usurpation of power.
These people are much closer to you, on a civilizational level, on a level of values, than those who like to drink tea from a samovar. It's obvious. Don't forget about us! Please remember that we are alive, including thanks to the citizens of the United States. Thank you to everyone who is with Ukraine in spirit and heart. Thank you to everyone who is with Israel in spirit and heart.
_
And one more thing for the guest with the samovar. Compare how the "enslaved by imperialists" Koreans live in South Korea, and how wonderful the "free residents of the Juche regime" feel in North Korea, denying themselves nothing. And if you do not understand what the people of Ukraine are fighting for, then you could just sit down, take your samovar, and go live in Kaliningrad for a month or two. Or Magadan. Or Vologda. Khabarovsk? Look at the living conditions. And during your tour, retrospectively reflect once again on the "US empire" and draw some conclusions about what prosperity is and what showing off is for newcomers. I think that's enough

mmmm. Yeah. You heard about Pol Pot? This man transformed Cambodia into a one-party state that he called Democratic Kampuchea.
And you're nice person, yaeh?

Surely, comrade with a samovar, helps listeners to build clear moral and ethical guidelines and values, which are based on the foundation of respect and reverence for International Law, for the History of the development of philosophical thought. Isn't that right? I just don't know. Maybe we should ask a Russian next time?
Surely he will also tell you about the "Kiev regime", people.
Or let's ask the communists about dispossession, collectivization and the Gulag and how this brings the idea of creating "the good for all" closer.
God bless the United States of America!

I think that's enough.

Guys, don't you get it? You need to put the samovars on the shelves, apparently. That's all.
And if you're a brave person, read this:
- Everything that the Russian Federation does in the Ukraine falls under the definition of the aggression (see UN General Assembly Resolution 3314).
- The Russian Federation violated the Helsinki Act of 1975.

@tapptom О, наверное, прямо так же правильно всё делает как и Гитлер в своё время, верно?

Absolutely!
What if the actions of their leader correspond to the ideas of the average Russian citizen about what needs to be done? I say citizen, because personally, it is difficult for me to call them citizens. And if you and I (and you, Mo, and this guest who loves samovars), citizens of the free world, citizens whose foundation of ideas about morality and law, is rooted in ideas about virtues and rights and laws.
And it happened not in 2022, but in 2014.
