  1. He wasn't my choice and I'm honestly very worried about what he'll get up to over the next four years. But the total absence of any vibe suggestive of Peter Pan in tights and shiny slippers is a great relief. Ten years of that was a painful embarrassment and immense strain.

  5. Different recipe, same dish. Worse in some ways, better in others, but in the end very unappetizing in both places. I formerly thought the extra ingredient in Canada was open (!) and direct government financial support to news outlets, but then Musk uncovered the same thing happening covertly in the US.
