  3.  @joybrooks564  I didn't notice anyone saying it's her fault that the boy killed her. The writer actually said the boy ought to have asked her to leave instead. So that's a red herring. However, if it's true that she laughed at him, she did richly deserve a hostile reaction of some sort, just as if she had spit in his face. He definitely touched a nerve with you in suggesting that, like men's conduct, that of women too needs to be subject to mature self-control.

So instead of "for men," how about for a certain religion with its spectacularly awful stance on women and girls? And why leave out sex workers who consort with drunken minors?
