  1. Capitalism has provided the greatest flourishing of human life ever, by far. Around one-tenth of all the humans ever to live are alive today, thanks mainly to capitalism. And btw, there's virtually zero pure capitalism in effect worldwide. It's very heavily modified and regulated throughout the West, with wealth transfer on a great scale via taxation being only the most prominent modification.

  5. Look into the history of slavery, Katie. It was a slave planet from time immemorial—until the anglosphere countries pioneered the banning and fighting of slavery. You might as well condemn every country in the world today for not having female suffrage in the 19th century, and if you did it would likewise be a fine achievement in ignorance and sanctimony.
