Israel does not appear to be using its helicopter gunships. In other theatres of war I've seen the US use its own to lurk many miles away and shoot at the source of any fire instantaneously, with devastating results. Why doesn't Israel fire at these launch sites before their operators finish and run?🤔 Are Israeli aircraft not safe when well within Israeli airspace?

 @ninadinechannel7675 Ah, then any army can carry out any atrocities it likes as long as it places civilians around itself. In this manner, it could slaughter whomever it wanted and take over the world if it wanted. Brilliant thinking. Bravo.

 @TheB1nary Thank you. Please repeat those well-expressed points elsewhere and often. (Alas they're buried in obscurity here in this thread.)

I'm really surprised, shocked almost. Re-opening by 2024 will require incredibly fast work. I thought they'd say some time in the 2030s. Can it be?

 @ninadinechannel7675 First of all, it's totally impossible that either every one of them or none of them will heed Israel's warning. It will be somewhere between 0.1% and 99.9%. Kinda obvious, but let's neither of us be absolutists on this. But even if you had said 90% won't, that would be still be hard to beat for sheer insanity on their part. In my opinion, rational people cannot doubt Israel's word on this, and the Gazans cannot be that crazy, so for that reason I cannot agree with your prediction. If it turns out that you are right, I'll be amazed and maybe a little bit shattered. If I were a religious man I would pray that you are wrong. Thanks for your reply.

 @OrShay69 Are you for real? Israel has been shooting many hundreds of missiles at buildings in Gaza with the intent of hitting Hamas targets. What better target could there be than an active firing position? It could obviously prevent destruction, injuries and deaths in Israel as well as severely complicating things for Hamas commanders. Also, look up the word civilized. Consider just writing in your own language and putting it through a translator instead of making outlandish mistakes in a language you don't know. Thanks for wasting my time with nonsense. Have a nice day.

 @اØÙ…دياسينأØÙ…دياسين-Ù‡1ك That's the translation of the word Hamas, I suppose? If it's not, it certainly should be. Anyway, thanks for the highly intelligent and coherent response.

 @Ranstone I find every one of those assertions either wholly irrelevant or wholly false.

So war is "a dark reflection of the human soul." I find that a little cloying and sanctimonious. I would say that ordinarily it's a reflection of the untempered aggression of the specific people who start it. I can't stand sanctimony.

 @rick_fraser Nah, that's not even possible.

 @alexsmith2766 The UN is dominated by Marxist-leaning, dictatorial or communist countries hostile to the West and to democracy. Thus it's hostile to Israel. It's a cesspool. Educate yourself before making such embarrassing comments.

 @ninadinechannel7675 Nah, you said "the civilian In Gaza are not likely to evacuate because they don't trust Israel [etc.]." Just saying "they" seems to imply all. But I take your word about what you meant. Cheers

 @flamingfrancis Yes, I'm so sorry for interfering. God I feel so guilty for what I've done to that nation of wonderful people. Why oh why didn't I just leave it to those performing the great work? But I have you to thank for setting me straight.

 @mikedice3880 That makes sense.

 @backintimealwyn5736 Thanks for that interesting and cheering reply.
