Apparently puberty is now seen by some as a disease. Makes sense, as pregnancy was saddled with that stigma some decades ago now. Then the burden of having a biological sex was medicalized (a sex which at age 8 your teacher taught you had only a 50-50 chance of being the "right" one for you). Yes, nature has no idea what it's doing.🙄For billions of years it had a free ride but now has come up against the holy and omniscient mind of the 21st-century American academic and found to be sadly confused.
