If he invented the issue I might agree with you. But he didn't; the story is all over the place. That puts him in a position of professional obligation to address it with her at some length.

O'Leary's right about Trudeau's non-existent future, but I don't know what he's smoking regarding a Canada-US "economic union." About 2% of Canadians would support that. The rest just want to recover the country's strength following Trudeau's disastrous tenure. Hey Kevin, get some rest, see your doctor, take a vacation!

It's true, the world needs more Elon Musk.

@princessbouldermall3381 As a princess, you should have one of your servants look up the word 'literally' for you.

S. Dakota governor Kristi Noem just ended it in her state with legislation she signed a few days ago. Chinese nationals can no longer buy agricultural land there.

I cut way back on Chinese goods. The result: I now own nicer stuff. And it lasts longer, so maybe it's cheaper in the long run. Also long-lasting: The pleasure of denying Xi my financial support.

neil menace 'Great entrepreneur' is a term for somebody who makes $100m. He's amassed over 2,500 times that. It appears you don't get him. He hasn't given up on or abandoned anything. The Boring Co., e.g., is about developing the engineering for large-scale tunnelling on Mars and is proceeding just as fast as he needs it to. Hypersonic air travel is something that would take even a large country many, many years to develop, so I don't see how it's justified to call that abandoned. I grant you the Tesla smartphone appears to be shelved, but I would disagree that it ever had the status of "project." I'd say more like he explored the feasibility of it. As for getting his kicks, he can do that at the same time as accomplishing more in a day than you or I will ever do in a lifetime, so I regard it as something to admire, not a reason to take him less seriously. Let's not let envy get the better of us. It's insidious.

Yeah, on the way into Canada. As usual. The amount coming into the US from Canada is like the amount of TV shows and movies coming into the US from Canada. Barely measurable.
5
@LawrenceMarkFearon Yeah, I agree it should be.

'Journalism' in 2024.🙄
4
Hey, stop selling and be candid. It isn't as though supply will actually decrease. It's merely going to increase less quickly. And it already only increases at a glacial pace. The total number of BTC is irrevocably scheduled to increase by only 10% over the next 116 years. (!) So even the current rate is so minuscule it's basically undetectable.
4
@ In fact 49.8% voted Trump in. And 34% is not "a big number federally"! Anyway, it was 32.6% last time; 33.1% before that; 39% in 2015. He could never even crack 40.😂

@JeffCaplan313 Don't pretend this is about regulating behavior, Chanfun. It's about removing a lever for Chinese government interests in America.
4
Absolutely, totally, completely false. They will continue to sell the overwhelming majority of their oil in dollars. Although they decided to accept other currencies as well, and these are expected to be a small fraction of the total for many years to come. Also, most of those receipts would most likely be promptly exchanged for US dollars anyway. (Note that Saudi purchases of US Treasurys have been increasing, not declining.) Finally, it is widely rumored that the US and Saudi Arabia are on the verge of signing a historic security agreement, pulling the two countries even closer together from a defense perspective. Saudi Arabia is not turning its back on the US or its currency. Far from it.

Kudlow for the federal cabinet in the next administration!

@rb239rtr All of that just amounts to insults with zero reasoning to back them up.

1) That's beside the point. She's a politician and the issue is the political fallout. 2) Stuart's not a dope. His job is to ask about politically trending issues, including personal ones.

We didn't hear from Joe Rogan. Zero commentary on him either. We got his picture and the words "That's bananas." Headlines everywhere are collapsing into the worst habits.

@abcdefg3214 50.0% Indian, unknown percentage black, unknown percentage white.

@NATHANFREDERICK-rs7yb Ok Farshad / Vitaly / Chanfun / Ahmed ... 😂

BC isn't in Western Canada now? In the 2021 election the Conservatives got 35% of the vote in Ontario, 33% in BC.

Standing by is the wisest response if you don't have enough guns at the ready. See Second World War, Allied involvement in the first two years of, history of.

@sharonblue4742 No, you go, actual know-nothing girl burning with classic girl envy.

Is there a way his nitwit brother can be added as a co-defendant somehow? Let's get them both out of our sight.

Something to do with his Canadian roots, I'd say. His mother is Canadian; besides that, he went to university in Canada for two years, he worked in Canada, his first wife is Canadian, and his latest significant other and the mother of his two youngest children is Canadian. I'd call him an honorary Canadian—but he is in fact a Canadian citizen. And as he knows quite well, Canada was one of the freest countries ever, until Trudeau came into office. Musk recently compared him to Hi tler.

Energy & food imports from Canada & Mexico total ~$250bn a year. Look for the tariffs on oil alone to add about 1% to consumer prices. Gasoline is ~4% of the CPI and will likely rise by 75¢ to $1/gallon, or 25-33%. Then there's autos, auto parts, lumber... Remember, tariffs are paid in the importing nation. Enjoy!

I'm wiith you on that, my bitter anti-Twitter sister. Elon f'ed up though, suggesting Twitter might drop the 'w'. Shoulda suggested they might drop the 'ter'. 😜

@JamesBonda-8621 "Supply chain is dynamic" You're telling me exactly what I'm telling you. The world is re-engineering its supply chain, and will succeed. Chinese manufacturers will see their share of world trade falling, and that they are being replaced. "China has the advantage" China is busy squandering its advantages, and merely to benefit Xi and his sycophants in the Party. Now is a good time to invest in the stock markets of other Indo-Pacific countries. "China has been sustaining a good lifestyle for Western nations" With tea towels, headphones that don't work, shoes that last six months, and Fentanyl, you mean? "But that might come to an end soon" I hope so.

In fact, polls on the trucker protest showed a clear majority of Canadians supported PM Peter Pan. They obeyed the left-leaning mass media, who backed him 100%. The mass media, not the politicians, are the leading power in Canada. The tide turned 18 months later in 2023, when media backing began to fade.

@rongarcia2128 That's an unbelievably narrow take on it. Twitter is an extremely valuable piece of communications, cultural and civic infrastructure. Make no mistake: despite his having a laugh or two along the way, Musk is very much in earnest and regards it as a very serious matter. He does indeed have the future of the middle class in mind, and the other classes, too (unlike you, apparently). If you don't consider free expression vitally important to the future, I urge you to think about it more. For my part, I am thrilled that money is being invested in it, that Musk is willing to risk part of his fortune on an intangible civic good. Musk makes practically everything into an occasion for fun, no matter how sombre and grave. Others would be well advised to try doing the same.

@HS-zk5nn Yes, because their answer to every problem is to create a worse problem. E.g., so many people in prison for shoplifting and meth: stop arresting people for shoplifting and meth. Too many kids dropping out of school: lower the standards by half or more. Very nearly all of the worst social problems of the present lifetime are the result of well-left-of-centre 'solutions'. You realize it the instant you stop fighting the reality in front of your eyes, which I alas did for years, thinking it was all part of being 'nice'. (It isn't at all.) Cheers, HS.

@Sam19509 33.1% and 32.6% of the popular vote in 2019 and 2021. Don't talk to me about history.
3
@deepakbhana8937 Funny you should say "your party" when I don't have one. But if you meant the Conservative Party, they beat the Liberals in votes in both 2019 and '21. hahahahaha

😮30% of Californians believe the border is secure. 😂Can you imagine their other beliefs?

When I watch a Kudlow video, there are never any other Kudlow videos in the tiled thumbnail suggestions after it's over. So here it is: They know I watch Kudlow videos. But they'll go out of their way to avoid helping me see any. That ain't right.

Potato isn't the greatest choice of word. Potatoes, after all, are quite popular. I'd say he's more of a turnip.
3
Nearly any watch costing more than a few thou is vulgar. So are the really large ones.
3
We will. Wait about 100 days.
3
It's pronounced "EE-lon", not "ə-LON". You also say "adult" strangely. The "u" sound is like the "u" sound in "null", not "pull".
3
Ford is struggling with EV production and loses gigantic money on each sale, so this Ford dealer could pretty much be expected to say all this. That point about bridges sounded extra-phony. Bridges have their limits but aren't sensitive to minor added weight like 1000 lbs. a vehicle.🙄 It's fine to hear her point of view, but let's be realistic about her interests. Come on, Fox.

@shelleyhanson9793 My post was made to the original poster, not you. And since he used a mixture of caps and lower-case, it's plain that bad vision wasn't his reason. Btw, clearly you were able to read my reply to him, and his original post. Story doesn't check out, madam. Methinks the angry lady doth t ro ll a little bit.😂

One day soon it will be announced that X is vastly expanding its interface and other capacities to begin video hosting on a great scale. When that happens, this place is done.

Shameless exaggeration. Total US aid to Ukraine has been $109bn ($45bn/yr).* Please, honesty and accuracy are important! * Source: Kiel Institute Ukraine Aid Tracker, Aug. 6 data release
3
Right. Anything except letting Putin pick up Ukraine like a sack of carrots is war-mongering. Your evil rhetoric makes any decent person puke. Punk.

Trumpflation

Putin's 'concerns': "No country bordering on Russia shall be able to defend itself from my drooling, psychotic, paranoid rampages. That's because Europe and the US intend to invade and conquer Russia like the bunch of Russophobe Napoleons and Hitlers they are." "Ludmilla, pass me my drugs. Oksana, put on that ballet outfit again. No wait, the gymnast one. Oh, is that mic still on?"

Retailers should be forced to put a Chinese flag sticker on the front of every item imported from China.
3
No one knows what the unemployment rate is — because no one knows what the population of the country is. The reason, of course: The Emperor has no brain.
3
You're absolutely right.

Dems and "progressives" last year after taking over: "More stimulus is opposed by Republicans as inflationary and irresponsible. But Republicans are evil and I can prove it: here's a photoshopped illustration of Republican senators with horns coming out of their foreheads. Therefore, let the trillions fly." "Wow, we're so good, and so right."
